Appointed by The Cheeky Panda to elevate its profile as the go-to brand for environmentally friendly bamboo household products, Avant has run a continuously successful press campaign that has supported the brand’s growth and awareness across consumer, trade and corporate media. The agency has also been tasked with raising The Cheeky Panda’s profile for crowdfunding and investment rounds, and to potential new stockists, as well as capitalising on the brand founders’ start-up story.

Avant orchestrated a national press campaign to position The Cheeky Panda as a leader in the sustainable shopping arena, cementing the brand as shoppers’ first choice for eco-friendly toilet paper, tissues and plastic-free wipes, as well as promoting new launches including bamboo face wipes, nappies and straws, and publicising brand activity such as its Giant Christmas Jumper campaign, its partnership with the World Land Trust, and the launch of its app. Running an additional corporate press office, Avant has also generated news and features around The Cheeky Panda’s growth, investment milestones, crowdfunding rounds and global expansion.
The agency has also overseen several influencer projects, including a partnership with Mumsnet and Binky Felstead, and collaborations with Tiffany Watson and Camilla Thurlow.
Since the start of the campaign, Avant has generated over 100 pieces of top tier national coverage. As The Cheeky Panda has grown to an £82 million brand, recent global stockists have included Carrefour, Waitrose, Monoprix and Superdrug, and its latest round of crowdfunding saw £2.8 million raised. The brand has also won nine industry awards including at the Natural & Organic Awards, Global Green Beauty awards, MadeForMums Awards and The Beauty Shortlist Awards.
