The Oscars: Our Best Dressed

Last night’s 89th Academy Awards saw the A-list celebs hit the red carpet for the most important awards ceremony of the year, with Emma Stone picking up the Best Actress gong for her performance in La La Land, and Casey Affleck named Best Actor for Manchester By The Sea.

Apart from presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway mistakenly announcing La La Land instead of Moonlight as Best Picture, the night seemed to be a success. Aside from wondering who is going to win these much-coveted awards, it’s always exciting to check out who has worn what, and who dazzled on the red carpet.

Here is a run-down of our top 5 best dressed.

Proudly showing off her new baby bump, Rosie looked every inch the princess at last night’s awards in a silk Versace gown, complete with glitter detailing and asymmetric drop shoulder strap. She oozed elegance and class, finishing off her look with silver glittery barely-there heels and drop diamond earrings.

Ciara was glowing in August Getty Atelier – the jewelled scoop neck gown and silk jacket complimented her blossoming baby bump well. Ciara looked elegant and stylish, completing her outfit with naturally tousled waves.

Alicia Vikander

Alicia kept it simple for this year’s Oscars, pairing a black and green lace number by Louis Vuitton with chic pulled-back hair. Her husband John Legend said she looked like a goddess on last night’s Oscars red carpet, and it’s not hard to see why! Wearing a white and gold floor-length gown by Zuhair Murad, complete with over the shoulder silk draping, Chrissy managed to look like a real life princess. She completed the look with gold heels, a small clutch, a gold belt and oversized diamond hoop earrings.
