This week’s Friday favourite is the Baltic Market in Liverpool. I visited for the second time last Friday for post-work drinks, and yet again wasn’t disappointed with the atmosphere and buzzy vibe.
Located in Cain’s Brewery in the Baltic Triangle area of the city centre, it is Liverpool’s first street food market and plays host to mouth-watering traders including Finca (Cuban street food), Little Furnace (wood-fired pizza) and The Midnight Delivery (cakes and snacks). Aesthetically, it’s all long tables laid out around a big bar in the centre (essential!) – so whilst it gets busy, you won’t struggle for a seat, and there’s a DJ playing in the evenings too, creating a great vibe.
The Baltic Market is open Thursday evenings, and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from lunchtime.
