Friday Favourites: 20th October 2017

Red Mango jumper

Jazmin Cabrera, Director and Co-Founder

This week’s Friday favourite is quite a boring one on the face of it, but this red Mango jumper is possibly one of my most-worn pieces over the last few weeks. Not only is the colour just perfect (I may have mentioned 1,000 times how in to red I am this season – here, here and here, as an example), but the shape and fit are perfect for that nonchalant slouch and it’s thin enough to not be bulky but thick enough to be relatively warm. Plus, it’s under £20!

I love pairing the jumper with my sloush, pale blue jeans and loafers, but it’d also look great teamed with a floaty skirt, under a pair of dungarees or with a mini, bare legs and ankle boots (weather permitting!). Now I just need to decide which colour to get next…

Fossil drop earrings

Melissa Hassan, Account Executive

This week’s Friday Favourite goes to a super late birthday present from my best friends, these delicate drop earrings from Fossil.

With a bestie living down South, its forgivable to exchange gifts so late (mine to her was three weeks late too). But my little birthday bundle was worth the wait, as in it were these gorgeous gold drop earrings. I tend to favour gold jewellery over silver and am loving building up my collection of earrings at the minute, and these are nothing like anything I currently have. I feel like these delicate drops will be equally as perfect with a chunky jumper and jeans, as they would with a dress for a special occasion, and I can’t wait to make the most of them this winter.

Impossible, Manchester

Ellen Kelly, Director and Co-Founder

This week my Friday favourite is new Manchester venue Impossible. Situated on Peter Street (in front of the Great Northern), Impossible comprises three floors and sub-venues, including a restaurant and taco kitchen, hidden gin palace and the Theatre Du Impossible downstairs – a new nightlife experience that features theatre acts and a catwalk as well as a dance floor, bar and booths.

I paid a visit for a friend’s birthday last weekend, and wasn’t disappointed. It was nice to try something different on a night out, and I think this is a fresh addition to Manchester’s nightlife scene; I’ll definitely be back, if only to try out the gin bar and taco kitchen!
