Spectrum

Objectives

Vegan and cruelty-free makeup brush brand Spectrum approached Avant PR in February 2015, appointing the agency to manage its Summer party guestlist, drinks sponsors and goody bags. After a successful event, the brand immediately appointed the agency to take care of all of its media relations also, launching Spectrum’s eye-catching ranges to press and consumers.

Strategy

Avant PR introduced press to the Spectrum collection via not only the brand’s launch party but also through a variety of means including sample sends, mailers, desk visits, bespoke pitches and the traditional press release.

Spectrum’s regular eye-catching new product drops make for exceptional news angles, which the Avant PR team successfully communicate to press, whilst also working proactively around key dates, events and regular features.

The team also uses its impressive relationships with key A-list make up artists and influencers to ensure that the hottest celebrities and social media stars become some of Spectrum’s biggest fans.

Outcome

Spectrum’s press campaign has gone from strength to strength, with features in key national titles and the brushes being used and loved by target celebrities. Spectrum has retained Avant PR’s services for all press activity, with the team regularly launching new collections for the brand.
